Although the ending has shock value, it just seemed to take away from the experience for me It isn't really a bad ending either, I just didn't care for it Some parts are rushed (transitions bewteen arcs, and how the character's personality essentialy change onadime), and I questioned some of the motives, but the show itself is still a godAnime and Manga Other Titles This is a split board You can return to the Split List for other boardsPhantom Requiem for the Phantom is almost an anime I love If you mention just the good parts, it's the anime for me, but the problems are a hindrance I've had my eye on it for years ever since it came in an ad flyer for a DVD I bought way back when Though it isn't as great as I had hoped for, it is certainly an interesting ride
